The labor/ delivery was smooth and complication free thankfully. We arrived at the hospital around 10pm on Feb 18 (not the greatest timing) as Bethany was in active labor having strong contractions. The hospital we were at was great and really respected our wishes for a natural birth. In particular, the nurse assigned to us for the night was an answer to prayer as she helped us through the type of birth we desired. At around 530am there wasn't as much progress as we hoped so we chose to have Bethany's water broke artificially. That accelerated and intensified labor and she was born not too long after. From my(Kyle) perspective it was an amazing and exhausting process. I can't believe what Bethany went through to get our little one out, especially all natural. She weighed in at 6lbs 9oz and 19 inches long. Here are a few pics of our beautiful little girl :).
